I'm an event hostess, recipe developer, Instagram addict, recipe curator, and travel junkie.
The Rustic Garden Bistro is my journal of edible projects. I work with what's around me, lots of colors, bold flavors, and opposing textures. I'm tickled when I can rely on my edible garden and backyard chicken eggs. And I'm happiest when the people I serve call it a success!
Thanks for stopping by; it's great to have you here!

Oh, I need to see some pretty green plants today–it’s so grey here today!
Isn’t California wonderful? Greens like this in Jan! GREG
You can call it winter lettuce all you want but winter lettuce here would be a pile of frozen mush. I prefer to think the two of you live in the land of Oz. Magical plants growing everywhere.
We usually can grow lots of veggies here in Austin, but we are in a DEEP freeze right now. Our small vegetable patch is struggling right now! This lettuce looks beautiful though! I’m jealous of that West Coast weather. Take care, sweet friend!
Beautiful shot, so fresh and vibrant. I love salads all year round, and I’m glad to live in LA where we can eat all this beautiful lettuce during the winter.
Gorgeous shot…just took some shots in my garden this morning
