3/17/2010: Since Joyce was out of town, Louie came back to the RGB for Wednesday’s dinner installment, gifting us his garden greens, garden oranges, garden avocados… and store-bought pistachios and parmesan. Seriously, can’t you grow your own pistachios and make your own cheese, Louie???
3/16/2010: Leftover clam chowder (course # 2 with Louie from previous days’ dinner).
3/15/2010: Because we’re nice people: Hosting our good friend Louie for dinner… because his better half, Joyce is in Texas for the week. No Carl’s Jr. here! Note: There was a 1:1:1 ratio of people, wine bottles and pizzettas.

1/28/2010: My failed attempt of using leftover sourdough and overgrown arugula to create a bite-sized lunch for the carpenter. I can’t lie, it was nasty.
1/28/2010: We finally got a new door… two months after the dog broke the old one.
1/25/2010: Dinner with poached cod under a saffron lemon-mayo over chorizo, mussels and penne in a thyme broth with garden tomatoes, bell peppers, shallots, garlic and white wine.

1/20/2010: Winter dinner of trout fillet, crusted with dill, paprika and cayenne and roasted asparagus and potatoes under a sauce of white wine, dill, paprika and lemon juice.

1/4/2010: Caught gopher; ha! Unfortunately, this was after 3 or 4 parsley plants went missing.
1/4/2010: It took ten lemons to make this cake with lemon curd.
1/3/2010: Touching base with Vietnamese roots: curry chicken with stir-fried spinach and Jasmine rice.
1/4/2010: An experimental breakfast omelet with beet greens. Makes the insides pink!
1/1/2010: An experimental lunch of Roasted Duck, Buttermilk-Smashed Potatoes and Baked Chard.
1/1/2010: New Years Day waffles with butter, maple syrup AND powdered sugar.
