We’re Kim and Barry. Our recipe blog focuses on the use of real, fresh, pure and seasonal ingredients and is a journal of foods we’re enjoying, whether they’re our own creations, adapted from a friend, or filtered from a cookbook. While our basic ingredient source is the backyard garden, we equally enjoy roaming our town to chat with neighbors and buy from friends. It’s always a tossup for me whether I want to read a post when I see pepper. I loathe green bell peppers, have learned to tolerate red and yellow though for years wouldn’t consider them either, BUT…I love spicy peppers in all colors. And these are beauties; will have to catch your post today!
Kim, I’ll come back for the recipes using these gorgeous peppers. Great photo. I just happened to have made pecan pie (without the corn syrup, thank you veddy much!) the same time I made a spicy hot soup and discovered that pecan pie is a perfect dessert following a hot (pepper hot, that is) meal. Wonder if anyone else has noticed the same thing? My pepper crop failed this year, not enough sun.
