Was very cool to hear the story in person last night at dinner, but awesome to read it here too. Sounds like Chez Panisse was simply divine! Never had a chance to go there myself when I was in school there – I was too poor then!

Spontaneous? I always make huge, life changing decisions on a whim. And they seem to work out so I think I’ll stick with it. Marriage? Mine was the same as yours. Well, almost. We decided at the beginning of the week to get married and that Friday, we were married! But our honeymoon was camping instead of San Francisco but still romantic because it fits us.

I also spontaneously decided last week that I’d like to get my own dairy goats so I can make my own cheese. I don’t have them yet but I’m working on it. So that’s my most recent spontaneous decision and it’s so nice to have a husband who goes along with it all.

You KNOW I am all over this story – I’m such a sucker for romance, just can’t help myself! I can’t wait to hear about the kitchen tour, meeting the staff, etc. – I can just tell, it’s gonna be great.

As for the most spontaneous thing I’ve ever done? Well Kim, here to, is where our lives are parallel – The Professor asked me to marry him and 10 days later, we were!
